April Matson

April Matson is a dedicated acting coach with a rich background in film and television and a passion for developing actors at every stage of their journey. Since opening her first studio in Boise in 2015, April has built a reputation for her practical, inspiring approach, which draws from the Meisner technique and is influenced by the teachings of Stella Adler, Uta Hagen, and other legends. Now based at Boise Acting Studio, April works with actors worldwide through in-person and virtual coaching, empowering them to harness their unique strengths and deepen their craft.

April’s students have landed roles on major streaming platforms like Netflix, Apple TV, and Hulu, as well as on prominent networks, a testament to her ability to bring out the best in her clients.
